What a way to break in your first night of legal drinking – with the GBS. Jacob was in for a world of hurt, you could tell.
This is one of those rare Good Beer Shows where I’ve had every single one of the beers you’re tasting. Groucho sent me a bottle of the Crooked Tree before and I loved it. You also had one of my favorite beers, period. Damnation is fantastic. I think it’s better than Duvel.
The sours Bonus Beer Bob brought back are rare and expensive to get your hands on. No one does sour browns like Vinnie does. Consecration nearly blew the top of my head off when I had it for the first time last October. I can’t wait to taste it again.
You had a good night’s drinking. Well done!
