What can I say? The group featured on the long awaited GBS 160 is one of my favorite local groups, “Everything, Now!“. They have a new album coming out in November and guess what? The Good Beer Show gets to play some songs off of it first. Beers sampled on the show were Budweiser American Ale, Brugge Triple the Ripple and EN!’s leadman’s homebrew. This beer was fantastic! I want the recipe.

Welcome back from Oregon, JeffreyT and Vicki!
What is it about Ruination that you don’t like out of the bottle? Is it a freshness issue? I know most beers taste better on draft than in the bottle, but I wondered what differences you found that made you enjoy the draft version more than the bottled version. I only ask because I’ve not had it on draft, only in bottles, and I wanted to know what I might be missing. Speaking of which, Spoon and SickPuppy recently had it on draft as well and loved it.
After hearing your review of the beer, and seeing the CBR video, I’m interested in trying Budweiser Ale, just so I can say I’ve had it. It certainly doesn’t sound wince worthy, like everything else Budweiser.
JeffreyT, you know if/when the day comes that you do propose to your beloved Vicki, we’d all be disappointed if it didn’t happen during a show. Romantic? Maybe not so much, but agree that it would be cool as hell.
