Show #24 features an unbelievable local band named “Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos. They are releasing their debut album called ‘The Dust of Retreat” on May 31st. This show we review “Pilgrim’s Dole” from New Holland Brewery. In a attempt to keep the beer as great as the band we will also savor “2005 Edition” from Unibroue. This strong Belgian strong ale was consumed at near “cellar temperature” showcasing it’s complexity. Margot’s website is here. I want to thank Mark at Standard Recording of Indianapolis for hooking us up. This album may be purchased at Standard.

I’m sorry I missed the Pilgrim’s Dole. I’m not usually a fan of barleywine, but this one sounds different than what I’ve had in the past. I’m a little leary of the sweeness, but it sounds like it is one that I’ll have to try. Maybe you can buy one and I’ll taste yours!
The band sounded great!
