I am proud to announce the arrival of my first grandchild. Her name is Mia Sue Meyer and she was born April 18. She was early, weighing in at 4 pounds 7 ounces. Mia and her mommy, Brooke are doing just fine.
Show 113 featured beers from Fort Collins Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jan Peters. She is the co-owner and introduced the beers on the show. We indulged ourselves with “Major Toms Pomegranate Wheat“, “Retro Red” and “Chocolate Stout“.
The guest musicians were Tommy and Ryan from the group, “Cursed For Manners”. This was their second appearance and it seems the GBS has turned Tommy into quite a beer snob. They have website and a MySpace for your pleasure. Thanks guys.

Mia is definately the Good Beer Baby. As I was driving up to see her on her birthday, a Bell’s brewery truck passed me on the interstate. I have never seen one before so it must be kismet or something. She’s beautiful!
